This picture is a message to the mass market production companies that insist on making ridiculous 1000% profit margins and the like- is it really worth costing people their lives when you eventually will run out of people to buy goods to sustain yours?

From your image, it is clear that he suffers, but not why.
From your description, the humanity is shown, and the image becomes powerful.
Our technology is our only means of survival in a world that would otherwise crush us.
Our industry should set us free and not destroy people for the benefit of capital and of machines.

This one should be printed on every label on every used-look blue-jeans you can buy.

But not all used-look blue-jeans are made with same way.

But true, there should be a label at least for the ones not using this killing way of making them used-looking.

I can only imagine how alone this man must feel. I, of course, feel fortunate in the fact that I should never have to experience anything like this.

Brilliant, poignant photograph.

sorry, I don't read, I only see the image, i'm artist, I don't know if you're... I think you need say the same for the photo.
I think it's a great image, very very strong, but your mind is very very closed.
Thanks for the photographer. I can see the pain, I can learning.

I don't understand your argument...

Being an artist does not mean that one should only look at lighting or technique. If you are an artist and that's what you (or someone else) thinks about, no problem. Artists come in all forms.

I wasn't attacking you, as a person or as an artist. I simply said how "your comment" seemed to me. I don't know you and I don't wish to claim to know you by one comment.

I'm interested to know why you think I'm a closed minded person.
I think it's quite an over generalization to say that from what I said ...so it's kind of ironic and confusing to me.

if you like this artist, you understend my point.

F*cking revolting... Jeans are one of the deadliest industries in the world for its workers. I've stopped wearing any a decade ago, I will not support the death of thousands of people.
Great and poignant photo, best of luck to him.

Oh Dear God, this is so sad.
My heart goes out to my poor brother.
That this be allowed to occur, is monstrous.
I am praying for this poor brother.
Thank you for letting us all know, I have never heard of this before.
A beautifully done shot, I can actually feel his pain, how hard it would be to breathe.
This kind of suffering is so very sorrowful.
May God help him.

Thank you for reminding me!
We should never forget what is the real price of the most valuable awards for our labour - breathing, drinking clear water, eating bread with salt, having enough warmth...
And still we forget all the time and starve for more than we actually need for to be happy!

Thank you for reminding me! I promise I will try not to forget!
